Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to install GHL Utils in your Chrome or Edge browser.

Download GHL Utils

Download the extension zip file and extract it to a folder on your computer.

Download the zip file
Extract/unzip to a permanent location (don't delete this folder later)
Remember where you saved it

Open Browser Extensions Page

Navigate to your browser's extensions management page.

Chrome: Open chrome://extensions
Edge: Open edge://extensions

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the Developer Mode switch in the top right corner of the extensions page.

Why Developer Mode? GHL Utils is a local extension, not published on the Chrome Web Store. Developer mode lets you install extensions manually.

Load the Extension

Click "Load unpacked" and select the GHL Utils folder.

Click the "Load unpacked" button (appears after enabling Developer mode)
Navigate to the folder where you extracted GHL Utils
Select the main folder (the one containing manifest.json)
Click "Select Folder"

Verify Installation

Make sure GHL Utils is properly installed and visible.

GHL Utils should appear in your extensions list
The extension icon should show in your browser toolbar
If the icon doesn't show, click the puzzle piece icon and pin GHL Utils

You're All Set!

GHL Utils is now installed. Open any GoHighLevel page and press Cmd+Shift+K (or Ctrl+Shift+K) to start using quick navigation.

Troubleshooting

Extension not showing up?
  • Make sure you selected the correct folder (the one with manifest.json)
  • Try reloading the extension from chrome://extensions
  • Check the console for any error messages
Keyboard shortcut not working?
  • Make sure you're on a GoHighLevel page (app.gohighlevel.com)
  • Check if another extension is using the same shortcut
  • Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts to view/change shortcuts
